Internal Quality Assurance Cell

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been instituted in the college as recommended by the UGC and NAAC. The primary objective of the IQAC is to establish a framework for deliberate, systematic, and transformative enhancement of the Institution's overall performance. It constitutes a component of the Institution's framework, aimed at achieving the objectives of quality enhancement and sustained development.

Aim of IQAC

To establish a framework for deliberate, systematic, and transformative action to enhance the academic and administrative efficacy of the Institution.

To advance initiatives for institutional operations aimed at enhancing quality through the internalization of a quality culture and the institutionalization of exemplary practices.

Functions of IQAC

• Establishment and implementation of quality benchmarks/parameters for diverse academic and administrative functions of the institution.

• Promoting the establishment of a learner-centric environment that fosters quality education and enables faculty development to assimilate the necessary knowledge and technology for an interactive teaching and learning process.

• Organization of feedback collection from students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding quality-related institutional processes.

• Distribution of information regarding several quality metrics of higher education.

• Coordination of inter- and intra-institutional workshops and seminars focused on quality-related subjects, as well as the promotion of quality circles.

• Documentation of the diverse programs and activities aimed at enhancing quality.

• Development and upkeep of an institutional database via Management Information Systems to sustain and improve institutional excellence.

• Establishment of a Quality Culture within the institution. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in accordance with the rules and parameters set by NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC.

The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) thus prepared shall be approved by the Governing Body for the follow up action for necessary quality enhancement measures and the report is made available in the Institutional website.
